Amin Azad

Co-Founder

Amin is a visionary at the intersection of User Experience Design and strategy. With a formidable background, he's honed his craft working with tech juggernauts like Google and Facebook, sculpting seamless experiences as a User Experience Researcher and Engineer. Beyond the Silicon Valley giants, Amin's consultancy firm has collaborated internationally, with clients from North America to Japan. Amin has worked with clients such as Shell Canada, RedBull North America, and NTTAT, a testament to his ability to turn design into impactful results.

Amin's passion isn't just in the corporate realm. He's been involved with start-ups, fostering innovation as a co-founder and mentor at the Hatchery at UofT, and the d.school at Stanford. Amin is pursuing a Ph.D. in Engineering Entrepreneurship at the University of Toronto, publishing on ways to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the engineering curriculum. Amin has received a collection of prestigious awards and scholarships, a testament to his commitment to expanding the frontiers of knowledge.

Davide Gentile

Co-Founder

As a versatile expert in both user experience (UX) and data science, Davide guides teams in data-driven decision processes and AI/UX strategies. His mission is to navigate the intricate AI landscape while keeping the human element firmly in focus.

With a solid academic foundation and extensive hands-on experience, Davide offers a distinctive approach to tackling the complex challenges presented by AI and its societal implications. Prior to co-founding AI Assist, he contributed as a Research Intern at Ericsson's Global AI Accelerator, as a Research/Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto, and as a Graduate Fellow at the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society. He has personally mentored over 400 engineering students, shaping their expertise in statistics, experimental research, and human-centered system design.

Davide's educational background spans humanities, cognitive science of language, and human factors engineering. Beyond his professional pursuits, he finds solace in delving into the intricacies of human behavior, going for waterside runs, and immersing himself in captivating literature.
